Final words on Guy Fieri at the Shoreline

Guy Fieri with a young fan at the Great American Food & Music Fest, the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mt. View CA, June 13, 2009

I received an email from Elise Thompson, photographer for the LAist, who is thankfully willing to share some of her photographs for this blog. She said,
"It was an unusually hot day and the lines were long, so people were getting hungry and restless. But when Guy Fieri took the stage, he emitted so much positive energy that he put the crowd into a good mood. He did a lot of physical comedy interacting with the audience, pretending to squirt people with the olive oil and teasing kids.

Many people mentioned that his presentation was the "feel-good" moment in an otherwise difficult day."
Read her LAist Post and watch for an additional report on the event from her at www.kikimaraschino.blogspot.com.

That picture at the top of your post is perhaps the most adorable picture I've ever seen. At least, of Guy Fieri it is.

Great shot.

Haha. Ok, Guy wins the Dorable Award for the Week. Or maybe it should be Elise who wins, for making the picture. Yes, I agree. It's a tender and gently playful image.

I met Guy at the book signing. I gave him one of our 12:1 piston rings. He loved it, you can see it in some of the photos you have on his left middle finger. I have a great picture of the moment I gave him the ring. His expression is priceless. He gave me a postcard of his with his endorsement "Carlos, Da ring is so Munee! Guy" I would like to share the pics. You can see the ring at www.sinners-inc.com.
